Keto Butterscotch Sauce (Sugar-Free & Low-Carb)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 1 cup Keystone Pantry Allulose

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Melt the Butter
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquid.

  2. Caramelize with Allulose
Add the Keystone Pantry Allulose and stir continuously. Let it cook for about 3–5 minutes until the mixture turns a deep golden brown.

  3. Add Heavy Cream
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. The mixture will bubble—keep stirring to incorporate.

  4. Simmer & Thicken
Lower the heat and let the sauce simmer for about 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally. It will thicken as it cools.

  5. Finish with Flavor
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt. Let it cool slightly before using.

Absolutely! Drizzle it over keto desserts like cheesecake, ice cream, or brownies, or swirl it into batters for a rich butterscotch flavor.

6. Does this sauce thicken as it cools?
