Boil sugar, water, honey, vanilla, orange peel, nutmeg, and cinnamon stick in a small pot.
pour over cherries
add bourbon
Store in mason jar(s)
Refrigerate for 3 days. or store for up to one year.
These can be enjoyed straight from the jar, used as a garnish in cocktails, garnish a pie or cake. or a real fun twist use Lang’s Chocolate dessert cups for one cherry plus some of the juice for a quick easy “chocolate covered cherry shooter”
