Keystone Pantry Non-GMO Allulose – Natural Rare Sugar Sweetener (2 lb Bag)

Product Description

Discover the sweet taste of freedom with Keystone Pantry Non-GMO Allulose, the natural rare sugar sweetener that looks, tastes, and bakes like traditional sugar — but without the calories or carbs. Each 2 lb resealable bag is filled with pure, high-quality allulose, a naturally occurring sugar found in figs, raisins, and maple syrup. Unlike regular sugar, allulose has only 1 calorie per teaspoon (21 per 100g) and zero net carbs, making it an ideal choice for keto, diabetic, paleo, vegan, and gluten-free lifestyles.

Unlike artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols, Keystone Pantry Allulose has no aftertaste and won’t cause digestive discomfort. It caramelizes and browns like sugar, making it perfect for baking, cooking, and beverages.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Does allulose taste like sugar?
A: Yes! Allulose has a clean, sweet taste almost identical to sugar with no aftertaste.

Q: Can I use allulose in baking?
A: Absolutely. Allulose measures cup-for-cup like sugar and browns beautifully in baked goods. It may brown slightly faster, so try lowering your baking temperature by about 25°F.

Q: Will allulose affect my blood sugar or insulin levels?
A: No. Allulose has zero net carbs and does not raise blood sugar or insulin, making it diabetic-friendly.

Q: Is allulose safe for keto diets?
A: Yes, it’s one of the best sweeteners for keto, with zero net carbs and no hidden sugars.

Q: How does allulose compare to erythritol, stevia, or monk fruit?
A: Unlike some sugar alcohols or plant-based sweeteners, allulose has no cooling effect or bitterness. It behaves like sugar in recipes, offering a more natural and familiar sweetness.

Q: How should I store my allulose?
A: Keep it in a cool, dry place. The resealable zipper bag keeps it fresh and easy to use.

Health and Money
Works well enough but be prepared to spend a good bit of money to constantly order (and the shipping is NOT free!) since it takes a good bit to obtain the similar taste your used to in your tea/coffee;the zipper ripped and thus have to still get a ziplock on it; so if you are okay with the finance dept. (as so many are not these days) then go for it- since it does allow one to not use added sugar in their diet. Since most allulose is made out of country it is good that this co. makes it in usa; although a bit more info on the plant where it is manufactured would be good. Do your research and good luck!
